To get started register yourself to take part. We will then send you an email with a user name and password. (The Book Creator section of our site is a secure area which can only be accessed by teachers and pupils who are working on a project and have been allocated a user name and password).
Once you have received your user name and password you can access Book Creator from any of our Yearbook Web Pages or our Home page. As an administrator your password will access the administration interface where you can choose the type of book and the look of the book (formal, informal/ colour theme). You will automatically receive passwords for the pupils who will be participating.
Each book has a range of page types. Some of the pages of the book every child will complete (a Pupil Profile Page) and some pages can be allocated by the administrator to a child or a small group (eg. Event Pages, Headteachers Message, Our School)
Each child is provided with a password (which we will generate see No. 2) to log into their pages. From here the child can work on their pages by writing text and up loading photographs and saving them.
The administrator is able to overview and edit the whole book from their password, this enables them to review all pages and make any necessary corrections where appropriate.
When the book has been completed and signed off by the teacher organising it, we will print and send the school one free copy along with a school order form. Copies of this book can then be ordered from us through the school.
You may need to obtain permission to use pupils photograph and a letter like this could help you establish whether any pupils need to be kept out of direct shots. (This letter is editable to meet your needs).
This letter could be used to collect your orders from pupils. If you have time the draft copy that we send to you could be circulated with the order forms. (This letter is editable to meet your needs).
