Does the school have to decide on one theme for their books or can they order some in one theme and some in a different theme?

Answer: The school can play around with themes to find out which one they prefer but our system only allows for one style of book to be ordered at the moment.

Why am I being asked to update the version of Flash on my machine?

Answer: Flash is installed on the majority of computers that use internet applications. Upgrading Flash to the latest version allows increased functionality and new features to be available. For example many aspects of the BBC site require the latest version of Flash installed.

What quality of photos do I need?

For the passport sized photo slots - Low resolution photographs can be used for the passport sized photographs and these will upload quickly and will print well. Higher resolution photos are also fine but will just take longer to upload.

For the A6 photo slots -Higher resolution would be needed (HQ setting on the camerea) These are usually around 1-1.5 Mb or more in memory.

Low quality mode photographs will print with a grainy appearance in these larger photo slots.

 

 

Can we design our own books and you print them for us?

Answer: If you are able to provide us with a print ready PDF which we could check over to see that it is in fact ready to print then, we could give you a quote for printing and binding.

Can we customise the layout of the page?

Answer: The text, questions and images are changable but the font style and size along with the page templates is fixed so that the book has a consistant look throughout. If you have any suggestions about pages you would like to have available or thoughts on the pages - we are always trying to think about new ideas so please email us with them.

My school colours are not available can we ask for them?

Answer: We will be expanding our colours and we may be able to add yours... call us to make an enquiry.

What do I need in way of a computer set up?

Answer: The minimum you would need would be PC with internet connection and a recent version of Flash on you PC. Our online system will automatically detect and update this for you. (If you have an externally managed network at your school then you may need to log in as 'administrator' to allow the update to take place).
