The School Card/Postcard Project is a great opportunity for schools to participate in a design activity where pupils can have their card designs professionally printed and in the process raise funds for their school/organisation or chosen charity.

Overview of how the project works

The project involves each pupil completing an A4 or A5 sized design for a Card/Postcard. The artwork could be completed as part of a school activity or set as a homework task. These designs will be used to professionally print packs of cards.

Parents are invited to purchase the packs of 12 cards and/or postcards. For each pack sold the school retains a donation of £1.00.

Costs

Our costs are very competitive and in particular our price for additional packs of cards (which is significantly less) is very popular resulting in a large number of parents buying more than one pack. Please see our Costs page for full pricing details.

There are no minimum orders and all admin packs, collections and deliveries are free of charge!

 

Organisation and Administration

The project aims to keep administration to a minimum and all participating schools are provided with a comprehensive but concise administration pack which not only provides guidelines but also include lesson plan ideas (provided by primary school teachers) and pupils order forms. We also provide downloadable letters to parents on our down load page.

 

Notelets

Each pack of 12 A6 cards is printed with the child's individual design on the front.

On the back we print the child's name as the designer. The schools name or an organisation for which fundraising is taking place is also printed on the back of the card.

The inside of the cards are left blank for purchasers to write their own message. The cards are beautifully packaged with 12 white envelopes in a clear cellophane wrap.

Postcards

12 A6 postcards with the childs design printed onto the front and the name of the child as designer printed on the back.

Packaged in a clear cellophane wrap.

Dates

This project is available from January through to mid September.

Cards are couriered back to the school within 10 working days of receipt of artwork. Unless otherwise organised. (always advise us of any special dates you are working to as well as any scheduled school closures).
