General Policy Statement

Cauliflower Cards Ltd value their close working relationship with their customers and aim at all times to produce the best possible product within an efficient timetable. With this in mind we have laid out below our terms and conditions for each of our main products covering all major aspects of our production process and customer service.

Card and Postcard Projects

Our customer is the school or organization that has registered to take part in a project.

• By requesting a Design a Card project pack  the customer is not contracted in any way to take part in a project.

• Unless a prior arrangement has been made payment for good must be made with a order. All cheques must be made out to 'Cauliflower Cards Ltd'. The amount of funds raised should be deducted before payment is made.

• Cauliflower Cards will provide the customer with a full VAT invoice with return of goods purchased.

• Cauliflower Cards will reprint or refund, as appropriate, any cards that are faulty as a result of : inaccurate processing or errors in the print production on their part and are not included as limitations within this document. Please email us within 30 days of receipt with details of the school, child's name and code details along with the explanation of the error. All other reprints are at the management's discretion.

• Cauliflower Cards do not process individual personalised / custom orders as part of the school 'Design a Card Project' Any artwork found with a customised order form will be returned with a refund/credit note for the amount paid.

• Where the customer has not provided order forms and or payment for an order, Cauliflower Cards will attempt to contact the customer but the job will be put on hold until the matter has been resolved. This may result in a delay in your printing.

• Where the customer or parent does not complete the required details on the order form, Cauliflower Cards will use the following defaults:-

No caption entered - we will leave blank.
No child's name entered - no name will be printed.
No greeting chosen - card will be left blank inside.
If more than one greeting has been ticked we will print one greeting only.

• Cauliflower Cards can only produce their best quality prints if the artwork guidelines are followed carefully. Any artwork that does not comply to the artwork guidelines will be processed but some details may be lost. (Most common examples being the cropping of important details due to incorrect size/shape of paper and/or positioning of important details within 1cm of the edge of original design.  White or silver media applied to a white background and colour pencil drawings.

• Limitations in the digital printing spectrum coupled with the wide range of art materials we allow children to use may result in some colours/shades not reproducing exactly. We cannot guarantee colour accuracy.

• Late artwork can be sent to us but will incur an administration fee and postage and packaging. (For each design this works out at £9.00 for the first pack and then £3.50 for any further packs of the same design). Payment must accompany the artwork.

• Additional products offered can only be purchased if at least one pack of cards has been ordered.

Terms and Conditions for Year Book Publishing and Printing

• Cauliflower Cards is a registered Ltd company and provide a service to create printed year books for the educational sector.

• Cauliflower Cards authorise you to view and use our on line site for the sole purpose of creating books utilizing our printing services.

• Except where otherwise stated all information and content of the website and any printed support materials provided is owned by Cauliflower Cards Ltd. As such all text, graphics, software and any other materials are protected (without exception) by copyright laws and database rights.

• In accessing and using our site you undertake that you will not:

• Use the site in any way which constitutes an infringement of any third party rights.

Not perform any illegal activity.
Not upload or transmit any material which is protected by copyright without prior written consent.

Liability

• Cauliflower Cards are not responsible for the content of self published books. Any inaccuracies or typographical errors are the responsibility of the books publishing team/editors.

• Cauliflower Cards cannot guarantee the reliability of our web host providers (BT) and cannot be held responsible for any breaks in such services.

• If a job is not completed (due to unforeseen circumstances) by a specified date given, Cauliflower Cards will make a full refund on any payment made by the client. Cauliflower Cards will not be liable for any consequential losses or compensation.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy

• Any personal data entered on line is held securely on our database for the sole purpose of printing the products the client has purchased.

• We do not pass personal details on to any third parties.

• It is the responsibility of the client (editors) - not Cauliflower Cards Ltd - to obtain suitable consent for publishing of personal details.
